Our Global Scholar obtains her MA
The Rotary club of Norwich were delighted to hear that their Japanese Global Scholar, Suzuka Kawasaki, has obtained her MA in Education and Development at the school of International Development of UEA.
Her family live in Hiroshima and she was an undergraduate at Ehime University. She lived in Norwich all last year and returned for her graduation ceremony on July 17th. 2019. Her Rotary host, Janey Bevington attended this happy occasion. Suzuka's current work is now in the International Department of Asia Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd (International Development Consulting Company) |
The company has formed a team for international development projects (International Department) which is in charge of ODA (Official Development Assistance by government) programs.
Suzuka is now working in a logistics team that supports project teams to implement projects in many countries.They write proposals to conduct projects, manage field work schedules, and accounts.
In the future, Suzuka would like to be assigned to West Africa and their specific projects as an expert in certain fields such as vocational training and education, working in connection to her MA degree thesis.
The Norwich Rotary club continue to host global students and currently support Saori Nishiura.
Saori is also in the school of international development.
